A chunky, orange, carefree cat swings joyfully under a vibrant red maple tree. Looking at this piece, you can almost hear the creaking of the swing and the rustle of autumn leaves swirling around her.
I first drew this in Krita on my computer. No AI was used to even conceptualize this image. It comes purely from my imagination. When I was happy with the sketch, I transferred it to a panel.
I chose to paint this one in a more whimsical, illustrative style than normal, using premium Golden acrylics. I even brought out my trusty (but slightly possessed) airbrush to achieve those perfectly soft, dreamy background gradients.
